Terms of service

Version 1.0. Effective October 9, 2026. Last updated October 9, 2026. These terms govern use of BeGuide, the BeGuide website, and related services provided by Glow Inspired Studio.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, accessing BeGuide, or using the website, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13. If you have not reached the age at which you can consent to online services where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.

3. BeGuide is an organizational tool

BeGuide helps users record and organize spiritual activities. It does not measure spiritual standing and is not a substitute for clergy, pastoral counselling, medical or mental-health care, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency services. The full disclaimer is part of these terms.

4. Your account and content

You retain ownership of content you create. You give Glow Inspired Studio a limited licence to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content only as needed to provide and protect BeGuide. You are responsible for your content, lawful use, and maintaining any recovery passphrase or export you need.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse BeGuide, violate law or another person's rights, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security, distribute malware, scrape or overload the service, impersonate others, exploit minors, or use the service to threaten, harass, defraud, or publish unlawful content. Circle and public community features are not part of the initial public release. Additional community rules will apply before those features launch.

6. Intellectual property

BeGuide software, branding, design, and content supplied by Glow Inspired Studio are owned by Glow Inspired Studio or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service. Bible translations and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners' terms.

7. Support contributions

Optional one-time or recurring payments support BeGuide development and operations. They are not charitable donations, are not tax-deductible, and do not qualify for official charitable tax receipts. Recurring support renews at the displayed interval until cancelled. Our support contribution, cancellation, and refund policy is part of these terms.

8. Communications

We may send messages needed for account security, service operation, support, and payments. Marketing messages are subject to your choices and applicable consent rules. You may manage optional communications in BeGuide or use the unsubscribe method in an email.

9. Availability and changes

BeGuide may be available through app-store territories worldwide, but it is not offered where prohibited by law or where we cannot lawfully provide a feature. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and beta or testing features may be incomplete.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using BeGuide or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, material breach, harm, or prolonged service discontinuation. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export content.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an “as available” basis without implied guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Glow Inspired Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, lost data, or lost profits arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or liability that law does not permit us to exclude.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for loss arising from your unlawful use, your content, or your material violation of these terms. This does not apply where the loss was caused by Glow Inspired Studio.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction, except that consumers may rely on mandatory protections and forums available where they live.

14. General

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a reorganization or transfer of BeGuide, subject to applicable law and privacy obligations.
